Just with respect to bypassing fuses...

Tin-foil is f'ing amateur hour. Seriously... you're going to go through all the trouble of bypassing the fuse for the sake of audiophool sound, and you're going to use tinfoil as the conductor? *smh*

I've seen control transformers catch on fire and burn up control wiring cabinets because of improper fusing, so my advice would be to properly fuse the circuit, according to the load VA. If you're going to bypass components, use a proper conductor and not tin foil. Save that for your audiophool hat.

No idea. We didn't talk philosophy. He was there with a bunch of doctors on a medical mission trip. He said he was traveling to villages with them just playing with kids and whatnot while they were treating medical needs.
