    check out the measurements online, these are bigger than nearfields i think (but might work out anyway?). from memory these are definitely extended and have plenty o' finesse.

    I see the S8's are rated down to 46hz. The Bhavas are rated to 38, but I'm not sure if that's enough for you. Better, but far from full-range (and more roommate-friendly) I’m also using them in a nearfield application and they do well up close.

    Well, that was an absurdly good price. Going rate is closer to $1000-1200 depending on condition and tubes.

    Ignoring lifted trace, with cost of unit, $200 in included tubes and adapters, and a vague >$100 cost of parts (let's say $150, because I'm assuming if it we're more than $200, 300, 400, and so on, it would say so), that puts us at, what, $1200? Is my math wrong?

    I like to do around a 10-20% discount vs what I paid for all things said and done, and what I'm including, so I'd say somewhere around $1000-1100 would be a more fair asking price in this case.
