maaaaybe something with the Schiit Urd with your streamer of choice connected? or there's a few AIO from Simaudio on the Canadian side of things. Also a Bryston integrated if you can find one with the dac card (I have a B60 with dac and phono)

I use color coded dots. it isn't perfect, but it helps match the gear to the power supply brick.

One term at university, I developed severe writer’s block. It affected only one course. (My others had exams.) The important information is what cured it: the university required all undergrads in my department to take a 300-level writing course. The goal was to teach students to write simply and clearly for an educated lay audience. It was one of the three most-useful courses I’ve ever taken.

As (ex-)audiophiles go, I count myself as fairly objective, and yes, I absolutely believe that, unless something changes them, bits are bits. But, right from the off, it seemed absurd to claim that this makes all dacs sound the same. Let's take the blindingly-bloody-obvious: the second letter, dAc. Didn't those idiots ever notice that they have analogue circuitry and output? That's only what the things are *for!*

I'll be interested to read (3 years from now) in some tech journal why getting lossless on Spotify was such a difficult task.

Like I have said the Spotify audience at large could care less about lossless. It is just our minute sliver of the market that gives a crap.
