Previous owner said the rubarized finish became sticky, and he removed it, hence the weird looks. But that doesn't matter to me! They sound great, surprising bass for a 6.5" woofer, and were $80!
Great score! I had a pair awhile back. I hated mixing on them, and the rubberized coating turned to gunk but for general listening they sounded pretty sweet. IIRC I sold the pair for around $800, so you came out way ahead
Yeah. I just figured out how smart these speakers are, with them connected with an ethernet cable, I can use one speaker to control volume and power on/off. I don't have the remote, but still convinent that I can control both from the one speaker. At least the guy removed the rubarized coating on these, so they are not sticky, just a bit ugly
Actually, just figured out I can use my Logitech harmony remote to control these. That's nice, I didn't think that the harmony would have the info for these in it.
