Had a guy come in yesterday to our store. Said he was from the SF area and went to a dealer up there to try to demo some headphones. When he walked in, he asked if he could try some headphones. The guy in the store apparently said, "I don't know, are you going to buy anything?"
Anti-customer service. I'm fine with lack of customer support (or ones where employees apparently don't exist until you seek them out first, like every Home Depot ever), but when a company seems to go out of their way to make things deliberately difficult to get help, you're on my shit list.
@Griffon@netforce I'm having or had a shitty experience with the owner of Headphone bar (I dont know If I am over reacting). I bought the Andromeda S during TAF, asked him about Special Ordering something after fiio told me to talk to him. Called him, emailed him no follow up. And still no tracking for the shipment. and had to call 2wks later for the reciept
I'm pretty forgiving of people that aren't responsive. Often they make up for it. I had this one custom leather product that had a 14 day return policy. I saw what I thought was a defect and let them know on day one. I didn't hear from them for 2 weeks, which was outside the return window.
I let them know how disappointed I was in the lack of response and when they got back, they said the defect was normal but I could still exchange for another one or order another at a highly reduced price. The answer was good enough for me and I did neither. I still recommend them to people.
@AvijitS25 Travis of HPB is usually responsive and he has saved my ass a couple times. If necessary PM me with your details and I can go this Saturday and talk to him directly.
@Griffon I'm not too worried I can call him and ask about the tracking sometime tomorrow, Whenever I visit my friends in BC I drop by and bring my friends to try stuff, interactions with him are always good. BUT I have never had any luck with getting a reply to an email though. The worst experiences I've ever had were at BayBloorRadio
I can put up with non existing personel/untrained/lacking experience, because i go in informed anyway. Stuff gets on my shit list when they don't back warranty or return policy.
They can be grumpy and picky all they want. When there is no friendly greeting and not even a few seconds of short conversation to acknowledge me as a potential customer, nope I leave. Make people feel important or just clean toilets. It is that simple.
