    Condensed: X asked Y to work on *several* items of value 3 YEARS ago, and they only got the one thing back over the intervening time. Not sure what X's plan is now but it sucks because a hobby group I'm in is going sour over this and Y is a friend of mine (that I haven't seen in ages).

    It's pens. Y joined the group a few years after I did and someone gave him a few pens to work on after he claimed to be able to restore them and because he was a newbie. X was being nice. Yeah, people are thinking the same re why the engraving was sanded off.

    Humans piss me off sometimes.
