It is a sad state, I wonder how much of it is attribute to the trade war.
That's a good point. Before you mentioned it, I was thinking online retail.
The CA stores in Anaheim and Fountain Valley have been like this. I can't imagine they can sustain that for much longer.
I imagine they may be feeling the effects of the trade war. I hope they can ride it out. I need to check out our store and see if the same thing is going on.
Amazon and B&H
Is Micro Center going the same way? I frequented Fry's and Micro Center for PC related stuff. Shame
^Has to be having an effect as well. Don’t know if others have experienced this, but my local Fry’s has had terrible customer service for years. Having to bring back parts multiple times etc. I brought back a defective computer and before I left the store, it was back on the shelf!
Microcenter does not look like it's impacted at least not locally. I frequent the Tustin store all the time and more often than not its packed. Most of my PC type purchases are from Microcenter these days and I have zero complaints.
MicroCenter seems heathy to me... at least the one I go to in OH. Bit of chaos going on in the WH ATM. We HAVE to deal with this guy, but kinda agree China's been taking advantage over the years- probably the only thing I semi agree with-- handling of it, don't know yet!
Just heard from an old friend. He just got back from our local Fry’s. Shelves are empty. They are going out of business.
Our Micro Center is always busy. I haven't been to Fry's in quite some time.
