For the single-ended interconnects, the measured specs on the 1x1 no better than their regular cable. The 1x4 star quad measures worse! And while star quad provides magnetic immunity in balanced lines, it does nothing for the single-ended cables. Hope that magic pays off.
Guess BJC just got tired of leaving so much money on the table. Gotta say tho, their new speaker cables are the nicest pro rendition of DIY ethernet speaker cables I've seen (which get some love here).
Their target market appears to be the *thrifty* 1% boomer that is drawn to dated web design, but isn't quite ready to buy that third vacation home: "...[our products] are substantially more costly to make than conventional products are, while also being priced substantially below some of the stratospheric prices one sees in the high-end audio world." (ie. you could pay more, so this is actually a good deal!)

Mind you, I used to say, "If someone wants cable deisign, why not go to a company like Belden, rather than some front-room (boutique) idiot peddling fantasies." Well, now they did, and maybe the results are not what I foresaw.
Anyway, I'm out of the game now. But, for old time's sake, if someone finds real science in these cables, let me know!
As long as they keep offering the regular cables, I'll keep buying them. Just hurts to think of people being suckered. More likely it will just let them get money from people who were going to spend it on cables anyway.
