You are correct, the first time I tried tidal was a 3 month free trial to hifi plus several years ago, and I really hated the MQA masters. Right now I only have hifi, but even if I did have hifi plus it wouldn't use MQA in Plexamp.

Yeah, and there's no way I'm paying $850 for roon when I can get Plex for $120.

I want to use Qobuz. It sounds better. But the catalog is tiny and I hate the app the way they don’t separate EPs from main albums is maddening. I spend so much time clicking through a million albums to find the ones that are actual albums. So I use Tidal mainly. Much better catalog and UI. And works with a Pi2AES. Until there’s an alternative which there probably won’t be, I’ll keep using Tidal.

And I hate Roon so that’s not an option to improve Qobuz.

Last epoch endgame is very boring and grim dawn doesn't really have one, although GD is fun to level up in once a year or so to try a new build. D2R is good but QoL isn't there compared to PoE. D3? Lol.

PoE is just SO good that even in it's worst state it's miles ahead of any other ARPGs.

Yeah, I have a feeling I'm going to miss the fingerprint reader, but I do find myself wishing for an easier way to unlock it when it's sitting face up on my desk or in the car mount. As for the size, I had a Note 9 before the 4a5G, and I kinda miss the bigger screen, but I have really big hands.

Did the same for my wife on release day. Got $400 for the 5. She uses the in-screen fingerprint sensor but it's less convenient. And the size is not as nice as the 5.

The 5 must be smaller than the 4a5g because the 7 is slightly smaller, but with a slightly larger screen.

Think of those oil filled A/C or industrial caps as a replacement where electrolytics would usually go. The downside is that they take up a lot of space.

Is there any concern in just running the original caps? Will they fail catastrophically? I love the way my Cornwalls sound, so I don't really want to change them, but I also don't want to cause damage to the drivers.

Changing caps of the same values won't cause damage to the drivers, however you may or may not like the sound. I changed the old oil caps on some first gen Heresey's and it livened them up some. Certainly took some "haze" away, but also revealed how piercing the high-mids can be.

I've really enjoyed my SB-2000s. Been tempted many times to bring them down to try them out for HT duty but I can't bring myself to disconnect them from my desk setup. Too addicting.
