    Previously, I’d only seen videos like his “Top 20 Rock Guitar Solos of All Time,” which didn’t make much of an impression. But his explanations of what makes songs great are revelatory. He’s clearly incredibly talented as a musician and as a teacher. Am getting a new and deeper appreciation for music, and I love his infectious enthusiasm. His Smells Like Teen Spirit analysis was great fun.

    Yes, and he makes it so you can finally put your finger on what it is, exactly, that you always liked about a song but didn't realize or understand. Almost all of the music theory is over my head but I'm finding it fun nevertheless.
