Yeah, everything's kinda slow in the audio world right now. Mainly people are getting out and about more, taking vacations, etc. Summer is usually slow, and that's normal. That said, I should see if I can contribute something, even if it's just Texas wine reviews. Sometimes it feels like this site hasn't yet found a consistent identity, or an engaging eccentricity.
I agree with @yotacowboy - also if someone buys me a Fisher SA-100 in need of restoration I'll do another restoration log. Really any vintage tube power amp with readily available schematics is fine, but it'll be higher quality content if you also send a signal generator & oscilloscope. Otherwise I have to sell some things first.
Re: SBAF, I'm very grateful for what it is, and I try my best to improve it ever so slightly. And I know I'm not the only one. But I did tell my wife again recently, "At the risk sounding like those guys who say 'This would never have happened if Steve Jobs hadn't died' (and it wouldn't!) This would never have happened at Changstar." Everyone over forty thinks that about something sometime.
