My least favorite of the 3. HD580 With the HD600 grill is better. HD600 sounds too shouty to me and the HD580 has tighter and better extended bass imo

Don't waste your money. You got the HD580. I bet a lot of people with an HD600 (me included) are pretty jealous right now.

My opinion: HD600 = HD580, therefore don't waste your money. Unless of course you want to. Obviously others may feel different and that's not a problem. It's just my 2 cents.

And no. I'm not jealous.

As someone with a 580, 600, 650 & 6XX (yes, I know I have a Senn problem), I'd save your money for something else.

What did the 600 grills do for your 580? 580 is probably my favorite as well.

@Mystic to me it sounded a bit smoother. As @Bill-P says, it sounds less “peaky”. I didn’t spend too much time with them stock with the 600 grill though. I ended up modding them per bill-p’s mod. If you have the 600 or 650, it’s worth swapping out the grills and trying them for yourself.

OK. Ill just play around with these two sennheisers for now. See what switching grills around does. Try some other stuff. Measure stuff. Hopefully try to save up for something else. Not headphones. Speakers or a car, depending on how my car I have now is doing.
