    LOL. Isn't that a 2 week ban? ;) I'd offer to alternate between Lady Gaga and Iron Maiden for 48 hours at 100 dB but my T3 CCS boards would melt.

    Elears received from @Colgin. Everything is here and working. Bonus: the velcro strips on the cord have a nice collection of hair and fuzz going. Looking forward to adding to it ;-)

    FYI, last time I spoke to Jason Lord, he offered to send the Utopia pads to me. Going to take him up on this offer giving the lackluster reception to the Elear. No ETA yet.

    My impressions of the Elear became more favorable over the second half of the loaner period. Will post some follow up thoughts in the impression thread tomorrow.

    Yep (Gungnir Multibit → BW)

    My thoughts are still evolving, but I like them overall and think their spot on @Tyll Hertsens Wall of Fame is well deserved. I also agree with some of the criticisms you guys (and others) have raised, but I'd disagree that those faults are significant enough to overcome the strengths in the overall picture.

    dammit boops, i love you for being so damn reasonable! i think the elear thread needs more balanced and measured impressions (well, just more impressions too!). ok ok i get it newton's third law, the hype was bound to be met by a backlash for not being the perfect uber-650 folks were all clamoring for but that doesn't necessarily make them merit-less. for the record i haven't heard them yet so i'm not offering impressions, just happy to see impressions of a different flavor.
