I think I have made up my mind. Although it looks like I would not lose money (A-to-Z Guarantee Protection), I just don't want the hassle.

Good point @a44100Hz stolen had not crossed my mind.

    Definitely a no-go. I don't want a "bargain" like that.

Yes, Amazon sellers who look too good to be true are one of the big scams du jour. Avoid.

it's an on-going scam, new seller in market place selling items for amazing low prices, disappears in a few days and you'll never get the item.

I wonder why the big decrease in price on the Andro b-stock. A batch with bigger imperfections? Or a repricing due to them not selling at the previous price (it was $999 IIRC). I can get new pair here at a discounted price of $990. The b-stock shipped to me by FedEx International Priority is $890. The difference would be the 3-month warranty and whether I could get warranty service locally.

Yes, yes, and yes. I've seen the same thing with HD800s-new seller, too-good-to-be-true price. Stay away!

Well. I dont know about others' experiences but I ordered a B stock Orion during the Black friday sale and there was a surface scratch on one side, which wasnt visible really unless you looked for it under the right light angle. But then a few days later I was on a train and it was sunny so I did notice that the right and left sides were very different - the nozzles/ports looked like they were mismatched because one side had a countersink while the other did not.

I spoke to the guys at CA and they said that this was because the B stock IEMs (atleast the Orions) were sonically matched pairs from different iterations. I wasnt too happy about it so they offered a refund or to exchange for a better matched pair visually (and sonically as well of course). They are currently on the way so let's see.

While I only had the original pair a few days, I didnt hear anything off but it was my honeymoon period. I sent it back to them immediately and didnt spend time looking for sonic differences - they do seem to know what theyre doing so I guess we can trust them on that claim..

NOTE: This is not a post to crap on CA, they were very accommodating when I sent them messages but I thought this information should be shared with people planning to get a B stock item.

Does anyone happen to have a JRiver discount code bigger than the $10 ones that are floating about online? Tempted to pull the trigger, if I can get a nice deal.

Where's the $10 ones? I need to sign up as my trial is over and I really liked the layout of everything.

(Also looking for a steeper discount if you find anything)

Is this a good price for a new Classic 1? What is a good price for one used?
