Bourbon Coke. 101 proof Wild Turkey is what I like
Furry Walls barleywine brewed in-house at The Stalking Horse brewpub in West LA. One of the best barleywines anywhere - not too bitter or sweet - just right.
Plain water. Sad but healthy.
Waterloo Sparkling Water (Lime).
Look. I know.
Fizzy water is bullshit. It's expensive as hell.
Chug the plain stuff, stay alive, enjoy life without burps, etc.
But holy hell this brand is flavorful! Helping me kick my diet soda habit currently.
I'll be endlessly roasted for this, but I swear McDonalds has the best fountain coke (not sure if this is that, but served as a reminder).
Nationwide, it's always better than from the can/bottle/other fountain soda machines.
Carbonation texture is coarser and somehow tastes spicier? Like, more cinnamon or something?
I'm not trying to be some soda sommelier but has ANYONE else noticed this?
It's true, they actually are different! I agree with you, have compared them side my side and did a blind test with my girlfriend (room temperature and opened / poured / served at the same time with actual blindfolds etc.) a while back because we both thought it tasted different. Yeah, quite noticable once you taste the difference for the first time... I can't un-taste it now.
I'm trying a new whisky today and celebrating a new job. It's likely just a temporary job, but that's my life as a young fella working in the trades / construction when the economy is low. Nonetheless very thankful that I've been able to stay busy this year. About to head into the listening room where my warm ZDT Jr and HD650 await. Cheers!
2nd son just came back from a trip to Ireland. Brought me a sampler pack of Fercullen whiskey (yes, they use an 'e'). Never heard of it, but the 14 yr old single malt is really good, I'd happily put it in rotation with the likes of Ardbeg.
Both bottles were $40.
The Glenlivet is better, but I get over twice as much whiskey with the Johnny Walker.
Sometimes hard to justify the cost, especially as a college student.
Sometimes though, it's just so good.
Yup a couple of reasons for that, check this link:
Why McDonald’s Coke tastes better than all the other Cokes
The only place that tops a McDonald's Coke is my local 7-Eleven. It seems like a little more syrup comes out of the nozzle, so its a bit more smoother and sugary but still retains that classic Coke bite. I don't know but it's the best tasting Coke I've ever had.
While we are on the topic, all Coke Freestyle machines should be dumped in landfills. I stopped going to movie theaters once they installed those abominations. I gotta have a real fountain Coke with popcorn when I see a movie on the big screen. And Burger King having them just makes me hate that place even more.
Just a margarita.
And an Old-Fashioned.
Did homemade pizza tonight so I'm polishing off the last of the bottle. Love this stuff.

Because I'm weird.
...or just open-minded.
Actually pretty good, and cool bottle
In An Indian Restaurant in NY. Got this Cola brand which is very popular in India.
Excuse the curry
Not right now, but both these are actually pretty good, and have really cool game of thrones bottles.
