Head-fi seems to sort of know what they talk about sometimes. Reddit might be slightly better but firmly stuck in mid-fi. Massdrop has non-stop nonsense.
Both Reddit and Massdrop have a much younger crowd that does not have a big discretionary income. I didn't have money when I was in college either. Their version of hi-fi is a much lower bracket.
I got downvoted to hell, currently at -9, just for saying a schiit stack has to be better than the Asus Xonar STX if not only for sould be for the fact that you can use a Shitt stack for different things.
