Ok, ok. They are cool. I am just beside myself though playing these games now and thinking, "I remember this was the raddest game ever and just look at how cheesy it looks." Nostalgia is awesome though. I love it.

I'm also still trying to get the DOS emulator to work and the N64 emulator. The NES and SNES work great though.

Some people want HD. Some people want 60 frames. Some people want connectivity. I am happy with Tetris.

A simple looking game can still be a serious challenge. Maybe you need some Dr Mario in your life...

Just looked at the game selection for the NES Classic and there's some good stuff on there. Contra, Punch Out, Metroid, Mega Man, all three Marios, Excitebike, and more. Wow.

I spent a ton of money on the Wii's Virtual Console before coming to the same conclusion.

I built one with Recalbox recently and have been playing it a lot. A lot of older NES games are hit or miss, but I still think SNES holds up great.

SNES are certainly better and still 16-bit but more "enhanced". N64 games are great, but can't really be played on the Pi Zero...on the Pi 3+ they play fine with the right emulator and configurations.
