I said mildly.

I had all 4 of mine pulled last month. I was awake for the whole thing. 2 came out easy, and 2 were hammered and chiseled.

I was semi awake during it. Only took about 10 mins

The cure for mildly drunk is to drink more.

@JK47 same. One got so bad it inflamed the mandibular canal. I don't want anyone to feel that. It's almost worse than kidney stones. Stupid evolutionary relics

Gums heal up amazingly quickly. But the period between the pain killer wearing off and that happening is no fun.

And no matter how much you want a pastrami and rye, don't eat one until you are healed. I tore open my holes and impacted sammich into them. Thank goodness I hadn't used up all my painkillers.

Of all the broken bones I’ve had, an abscess tooth was by far the worst pain ever.

Well now its not bad. Painkillers wore off, but just mild discomfort.

Eat soup, or more like broth, It's painful when bit's of food get stuck in the socket, and may lead to "dry socket" you DON"T want that. My friend had it, and it' s BAD.

I stuck with the 800mg Ibuprofen for painkillers. The pain wasn't all that bad.
