Introduce them to Monty Python. Once you recite the dead parrot sketch together you even the field again. Yesterday I met a fellow nerd and recited some lines together. One of the best moments of the year for me, no doubt.

As an old guy who never went to university I am totally unqualified to comment on this. Business as usual then ;) ---

Could it be because they are brats? undergraduate (first degree) is next thing on fro school, right? And people don't change from school kids to young adults overnight. Even if already in their late teens.

Some people are born old. And like assholes, brats come in all ages.

Haha well I do go to a "fancy" school where some kids have been known to purchase new MacBooks in the middle of the day because theirs ran out of charge (there's literally a PowerMac center on campus). I hesitate to apply the prejudice to all, but damn :))

@Deep Funk I kinda doubt most would be into that, haha. "too old" or some such thing. This is the Post Malone generation.

@Thad E Ginathom that's fair. I was a proper (censored) when I was a kid I think, though the bulk of that was social anxiety haha.
