hhaha yeah i purposefully listened to lots of bassy shit through them because of how absurd it sounded. i then asked evan to make them more normal sounding. they're fun, have lots of potential, and weren't vshaped or bright which was a pleasant surprise.

One person's 'absurd' is another person's 'just enough' when it comes to bass. I'm just glad I got em sounding like my speaker system does.

i use absurd to capture the sheer impact and tactility which was totally absurd. once the level came down closer to my reference it was awesome, but even when it was at evan's level of goldilocks it was still fun as hell to listen that way for a while
