Do you know what aspects of it make it sound like that? I am trying to make the recording sound as realistic as possible. Each instrument was recorded individually in an anechoic chamber, then I used Odeon to simulate the instruments being on stage in a concert hall, specifically the Philadelphia academy of music, with the listener positioned in the center of the audience.
I've never attended a live orchestra performance but to me it sounds fairly convincing apart from the occasional glitches. Things are definitely infront of me. The stage seems narrow though.
Also to give a bit of a visualization of the space, heres a quick snip. The blue dot labled #2 is the listener. All the red ones are the instruments. https://i.imgur.com/8xnyhC3.png
So...from your drawing...it seems like you are too far back in the concert all and getting more reflections from the sidewalls. It sounds like a single point source. Like one speaker on stage. Otherwise it is convincing, although the R60 time sounds a bit muted.
Yeah, right now it has a T60 of 1.48 seconds, as the room is a bit small. But its not too important, as the main focus will be changing the reverberation time to see the just noticible difference. Same with the stereo imaging, not too important, just want to be able to compare recordings with different RT. Ill try moving the listener a bit closer to the stage and see how it changes.
Sounds mostly realistic to me, lateral placement seems fine. Depth a bit less though, wind instruments sound too dominant at times, as if they were in front of the orchestra, when they should be in the back.
