    Sadly, occurances like this make me want to tighten up loaner rules to include friends only. Probably won't solve everything, but could at least mitigate the chances.

    The reason for no Canada is because customs is a bitch; we've lost stuff due to customs doing whatever shenanigans. This is the primary motivator for keeping units CONUS.

    Do it. I think this is the second time a contributor has sat on a loaner a lot longer than it should have been. I had remarked to someone earlier that it was weird to have people who contributed like $20 or so being able to have access to gear worth at times hundreds of dollars. Probably a good idea to find other perks for those contributing money to the site.

    If customs is also a problem keeping a somewhat strict loaner timeline, then unfortunately that will have to be addressed.

    I thought @luximal was a friend prior? They had certainly been around long enough...maybe even on Changstar?

    Pretty sure I had at least a couple F/S experiences with them without incident. (Not that things can't go wrong any other time...)

    fo real, I've been in on 2 tours, I guess the higher end stuff requires higher end evaluations. We all benefit from that. It led me to my current Matrix Xsabre pro dac (non mqa) , phonitor e and Verite.
