I used the SAVE25 coupon on a new monitor. A hundredish bucks for a 27” 240hz gaming monitor is insane. Maybe pushing the limit of pixel size for 1080p but it’ll be fine.

You can also get it for that price on Monoprice.com using the code MARCH15. But I'm not sure how long that code will work for since it is no longer March 15!

Same here. My partner has been needing something to replace her broken Beats and she's currently got my Sennheiser Momentums.

Depends...what Sonys are you talking about? I can tell you by experience that its not in the same league as XM3/4/QC35ii but it would be a nifty gift for the price. Personally i would say that I even prefer the soundcore's sound, ANC and app wise, but you know for a teenager AKG "sounds" better. ;)

That is amazing of you @dasman66 but between postage and taxes it would become expensive to me. Thanks for the generous offer though!

PM me an address and I'll put it into pirateship and find out

They charge taxes on a personal shipment from a friend? Even if it was out of the original box and was just sent in generic packaging?

Careful...you're going to nullify your custom tag if you keep offering to do stuff like this.

Canada and Europe are kinda barbaric when it comes to slapping import charges on anything. In a couple instances I have literally paid more on import fees/taxes/brokerage/etc than the value of the item itself.

Customs can also open the package up and decide that the value declared is not valid, and hold your package ransom until you pay up.

If shipping to France anything valued over 40€ gets checked. I had a friend send us a Christmas package without letting us know and I had to pay ~10€ VAT for our own gifts

The taxes I don’t mind so much. It’s the unannounced brokerage fees that end up being as much as the tax that I really hate

I feel like there’s a way to pre-pay taxes on the sender’s side through UPS or DHL but I haven’t quite figured out how to do that yet
