Amazon has the wireless / noise cancelling Momentum 2 headphones from Sennheiser for $329. I like my OG Momentums ones well enough for casual listening for movies and whatever that I'd consider these if they supported AAC as a codec but that's probably not as important if you're not an Apple slut.

I thought there was a premium on the stuff they put on Amazon, but maybe it's different when it's a closeout sale.

 

You are correct, in Jason's book/blog he has a whole chapter where the Amazon price, even with prime shipping, is designed to be more than the shipped price from Schiit.com. Certainly looks like an exception for this closeout, I don't remember what the Amazon prices on other closeouts (Vali 1, Mjolnir 1...etc) were, if there was even Amazon stock at all

 

Fulla is $59 on Schiit site. (No free shipping though.) I agree with @PoochZag this looks like an exception to the rule on the Amazon price.

Ordinarily I would not mention something like this, but the prices are so low. (Not that big of a selection, though.)
Not much* (anything) on provenance but the labels don't usually screw up Jazz like they do Rock, etc.

*I wouldn't know the following is Mono if not for seeing that on their little image of the album cover.

Edit: After looking around some more, the first few titles I looked at were in this price range. Not all of the prices were this low. The sale was still worthwhile for me.

 

There have been some good jazz hi-res masterings, I believe several of the Coltrane hi-res remasters are meant to be quite good.

 

They have several John Coltrane titles in the sale.

 

I wonder if there are going to be any deals cycling in/out through the period.

I regret not jumping on the Andromedas during Black Friday, but the b-stocks don't seem to make much sense for only a 9% discount vs. what it was then.

 

Honestly, I'm most worried about the 90 day warranty. If its only nicks, why not a full year? Obviously, it must cost to have 1 full year warranty... But then I wonder what kind of returns they're looking at to make the 1 Year warranty cost prohibitive.
