What other headphone brand besides Stax does Edifier own?

I'm taking a "wait and see" approach to this. Might be good, might be bad, no way to know for sure until we see changes to Audeze's products.

haha yeah, it doesn't pose a problem with most headphones, but every once in a while a cup won't be able to swivel far enough to get contact under my ears...and its frustrating :P

that would require having a cord hang down to the blue tooth receiver, i like having no cord at all, though using something like the noble audio thing for a pair of in ears wouldn't be so bad, I think it comes with a short CIEM cable to use instead of the 48" or 60" one they come with

I was thinking of getting this one (http://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Bluetooth-Headphone-Receiver-Wireless/dp/B00N7AWL2U) and clipping it to the headband of my headphones with a custom short wire. Not as clean as something with bluetooth built in, but keeps from having to get an entirely new set of headphones. If I go through with it, I will start a thread.

I've been using a Sony BT receiver for years with my V-Moda on ears, Koss clip ons, and more recently with the Oppo PM-3... With a short cable it's not very different from having actual BT headphones, at home your can even clip the thing to the headphones rather than yourself.

Fidelio M2BT is good. I also tried the XTZ headphone Divine which was also good, but requires their DSP player to sound their best.

I was looking at the pixel as well, since it's a bit smaller than the Slapjack I believe. But it didn't look big enough for a notebook or two and a textbook. Would you say it is? Also how does one get the custom version?

Nope, but like I said, I'm a cheap bastard when it comes to calibration. I was meaning more something on the level of the BA or 445. Where the amount your willing to spend on transformers becomes the only limiting factor. Digging through random google results and DIY audio might be worthwhile though

A lot of amp designs are basically identical. The difference comes up in how much you want to devote to parts quality.

It seems like a salas shunt supply into a we417 spud single feed SET is pretty legit with a good OPT...avoid all caps in the signal path that way. Gonna have to do a bunch more reading though
