Besides the three you already own (all of which I love), I'm fond of Ummagumma and Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Former is a great live performance and has some hair-raising chills, latter is pure Syd Barrett zany awesomesauce.
Check out Obscured by Clouds. As for best masterings, there are almost no outright bad PF masterings, and people tend to argue about which is truly the best. I would probably recommend the 1994 Doug Sax masterings. They should be easy to track down used for reasonable prices.
It always blows my mind that Dark Side of The Moon and The Wall are amongst two of the best selling albums of all time. Not that they are bad but they sound nothing like mass marketed pop albums.
My personal favorite is actually The Division Bell, which is a controversial choice I'm aware. Roger Waters isn't even in the band anymore. It's a bit tidier than their earlier works and the production and recording quality is through the absolute roof. I think it's an album that really grows on you with multiple listenings.
The Division Bell sounds amazing but musically and lyrically falls short for me. YMMV. To me their run from Meddle through The Final Cut is their apex.
For me, every album starting from Meddle in ‘71 to The Final Cut in ‘83 are all excellent. Take your pick. Not a fan of much else they’ve done. The Divs Bell is ok I guess.
