I listened to a couple of tracks from it the other day and found it a bit too pop-y for me initially, but will give it another try. I love his earlier grungier stuff, as well as Sea Change, and Morning Phase (which is like a continuation of Sea Change).
Funny, as Colors is the only album of his I don't care for. He's a blast to see live, by the way, if you get the chance. You can tell he and his band have a lot of fun with it.
He rocked a pan flute. That is like Kate Bush using a didgeridoo like a bass and rhythm guitar at once in the song "The Dreaming." When artists do weird things like that I take notice. Pop can be amazing. Jethro Tull would be so proud...
