no ear plugs?

I will probably will never go to another concert, sadly.

@Gazny I wanted them, but was unable to get some before the show.

When I was younger and dumber I went to a Staind concert and I couldn't make out any music. My ear drums were just waffling like broken woofers. f'ing hated it.

Bruh, I went to see Jesus Christ Superstar and the mixing was so wall of way too loud sound that I might not even do a broadway show again without heavy ear protection.

It's not just metal concerts. Really any venue with amplified music or sound can be like this. I take Etymotic earplugs with me to every concert, musical, movie, etc. just in case.

@zonto which Etymotic earplugs do you like? I’ve got a concert coming up and want to get some earplugs.

@MellowVelo I have the old ER20 with the longer tubes and the non-blue tips (normal size tips; blue are smaller). I don't think the ER20 has replaceable tips. They might be called EtyPlugs now? Since I got mine 10+ years ago, Etymotic came out with the ER20XS. Those have a shorter tube and replaceable tips it looks like. I need to replace mine. Despite cleaning them after every use, it's time for a new pair...
