    Fun and enlightening. Who would have thought a SS amp would be mellow and rolled off esp. bass against an OTL!
    The generalized thoughts of OTL cap haze and tube amps being rolled off and bloomy don't hold here
    But then this OTL went through tuning pahse over several years. 5k gets you a Teton which performs good with exactly with one headphone, HD650 (leaner/brighter teton + Fat/dull 650 = Good synergy)

    Another highlight was @rhythmdevils T50. That and guru's HP1 seem to follow the same tuning fundamentals. No bass flab, 5k-8k hole filled in (something that commerical ones still don't care for) and most importantly sorted volume gradations/dynamics
