I could get by just fine with a Jot 2 but it would have to have a BF2 under it. DAC cards = ewww or just get a modi multi bit 2

If you aren't 100% on AIO, you could get a mini Schiit stack (Piety/MMB2) and use something like https://www.etsy.com/listing/1442671465/for-schiit-magnimodi-under-desk to keep it together and out of the way.

I quite liked the CEntrance Hifi-M8 V2 as an AIO, but preferred the sound via bluetooth over USB. Plenty of juice too.

Probably not applicable here with Audeze and HFM, but if I was rocking my Senns and Focals with this requirement, I would consider the Chord Dave. It's headphone jack is pretty nice and I could be happy with just it.

J2 is solid, but I find it gets brittle at higher volumes. Asgard 3 will power anything but gets boomy. If you like tube, maybe a used modular Lyr 3 and throw a card in?

The new ESS card is basically a Modius E (which I've loved for a while now) - I think it's "good enough" if you're trying to keep the desk clutter down.

Is there a reason no one has mentioned the Lyr 3 yet?

@Qildail Nice, I have a Modius E and really like it. I've had the Jot 2 and didn't hate it either. Could be a good combination.

If you can still get dac board i'm thinking of selling my Lyr3. EU though.
