The power output specs are kind of insane. Hope it doesn't make the 13 ohm AFO drivers explode :p

No USB Gen 5 I guess - still need Eitr to get maximum out of it.

It doesn't have SPDIF input, so won't work with Eitr.

Well, maybe it has Gen 5 baked in then or no Gen 5 at all and only Gen 2. Can’t find anything on USB implementation.

So it has the output power of the balanced Jotunheim output but over 1/4". Impressive.

Basically, tube Jotunheim. I still don't think I'd spring for the modules but Jotunheim was already excellent. Add a very clean and tasteful tube and I can imagine it being a very, very engaging listen. Just wish it had a 4-pin XLR output as well. But adapters can handle that.
Given how many people love Vali2 and the tube pres, this should really be a best-of-both-worlds scenario.

The Jot runs hot and this dissipates 10 more watts at idle... How hot is this schiit?

And so Multibit unbalanced for Jot added, but if you want true balanced you gots to go for 4490.

So the same cards, but Lyr 3 only using unbalanced.

I find it interesting he moved the switches between the volume knob and the headphone jack. That will kind of make those harder to get to. On the Jot, the switches are on the left side of the volume knob.

In the Schiitty rumors thread, Jason has confirmed no Gen 5. Not enough room. Best anyone can do is make sure they have a clean, properly powered connection via a Wyrd.

This is so close to perfect. But it looks like I will keep the Eitr/Modi Multibit/Vali 2 stack in place.

Ok, read the FAQ. Very informative! Read it. But on the subject of Vali:
That got me salivating a bit.
