They are the still the front channels in my 5.1 setup. I use them for watching TV or Movies, which they excel at. However they are pretty bad for music, all bass and treble with no mids.

Makes sense I guess. :) Center channel is also klipsch? I remember zerodeefex mentioning it's important for the center 3 to be the same or as close as possible.

Yep, Front LR are Klipsch VF-36, Center is Klipsch KC-25 and Rear Surrounds are Klipsch KB-15.

How do you like the LX521's? As a dipole fan, I've always wanted to hear them, but never had the chance.

LX521 is the only reason I’m not completely hating on OB’s.

Heh, well, those baffles certainly elicit a strong response. :) Looking forward to hearing about their sound!

I wrote an email to Siegfried about the baffles before he passed away and he answered. He said that the shape isn't because of aesthetics and follows modeling for an optimal response.

No sound treatments up yet, Genelec 1034Bs need to live on carts until a long term built-in project gets realized.

I read about that on his website. I've always wondered why he didn't hide it with grille cloth. :)

Some ATC SCM100 ASLT's came up S/H locally - not very common where I live and not something I'd ever remotely afford if buying new.
Had to buy them. Replaced my SCM19's (which I had hooked up to Benchmark AHB2 monos) - also fabulous speakers. However the SCM100's have a tonal realism, scale and dynamics that eludes the 19's - I suppose you should expect this for the extra $'s.

Nice! Feel free to do a more in depth review :). I'm curious about the performance, and particularly staging, of the HPA4 as a pre to the ATCs. Count me jealous!

I will try to do a more in depth review in due course. Only had a SCM100's a couple of weeks, so still taking them in and making adjustments to the positioning etc.
Bass extension is of course far superior to the 19's - I've dispensed with my Rel subwoofer - but doesn't intrude as this is a speaker designed to be a neutral monitor.
Very impressive on acoustic program where its realism is best displayed.
Like I said above the big change from the, already brilliant, SCM19's is the additional robustness that's added right though the mids and just makes all manner of instruments and voices sound so much more realistic. Superior dynamics and a great feeling of unlimited ease is also a feature of the 100's.
As far as the HPA4 goes, it's just a neutral conduit. What you put in is what you get out, which is fine with me but not for those who want to 'goose up' the sound.

    Looks great :)
Only thing I'd add, if you're into bass and sound traps, corners should be first priority, I think.

awesome, im jealous as well! I suspect these are quite old, and probably dont feature the ATC soft dome that have been introduced a few years back. Their new tweeter seem to have resolved the clinical sound of the old ATC. Id ask ATC how much it would be to upgrade the tweeter on your pair!

Actually these are a late 2017 build, not even 2yrs old, and feature the latest drivers including the ATC tweeter.
    The highs sound beautiful.
I already had the mk2 19's with the new tweeter, though the version used 100's is the higher output spec.
I'll post a better driver pic.

Here you go. Even at the S/H price they were still quite expensive (for me) - but I've clicked past 50 and as the kids say YOLO:
