I used a Swissbit SFSD256GN1AM1MT-I-7G-211-STD with my Sony WM1ZM2, but I don't have the DAP anymore.

Not familiar with Swissbit, but Micron is a major manufacturer of memory chips. The Kingston branded modules in my PC have Micron SDRAM chips, as does Crucial. I expect their NAND chips are used by lots of other brands as well. Kind of like buying an LG TV, or another brand that uses LG panels, you probably can't go wrong with the name brand themselves.

That's nothing... I have (4) Samsung smart tags somewhere in this house that are running low on battery and I can't find them. Every day I get notifications that the batteries are running low, but that doesn't do me any good if I can't find them.

In theory, I should be able to ring them from the app... but all it tells me is that they are nearby and I get an endless spinning circle

It was years ago but I've had Amazon give me a T-shirt instead of a mouse twice.

You’re supposed to cut eye holes in the blanket and put the headset on over that for extra immersion

In order to compete, YT channels such as THS pump out lots of "content" & thus publish opinions on gear they haven't had time to experience properly. E.g.: E3 (which only 1 of 3 has heard) beats Atrium Closed (which hasn't even been reviewed). No slam on THS, but the video illustrates the awesomeness of sbaf, where friends share experiences w/out pressure to voice opinions on products they haven't experienced fully.

I don’t like channels with limited exposure to pump out best of the best awards.

I dunno anything about drama from the "dude" but ive never had a problem with mine. But I also only use it in MPD mode, thats actually the only reason I bought it cause it offered that.

Most likely your driver is running behind and uses this to skip a bunch of deliveries.

it's pretty safe neighborhood and had multiple deliveries made in past. First time they put some status like this.

Does it even say what tubes they are? I only see "Two vacuum tubes [one per channel]". Seems like this product is aimed at audiophool eejits who want something (trans)portable that's kewl.

Let's hope the springs mitigate the ping ping microphonics that those small input tubes are known for. I had a portable amp that used them, it did not like to be touched. It used 6418 tubes

Limited at both front unfortunately but open to suggestions.

The new T0 Plus sounds better than any desktop speaker has any right to. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I'm actually very interested in hearing both; though, both are limited runs (for the time being).... argh..... but I'm sure they'll both show up on the 2nd hand market at some point.

Wasn’t it Audirvana where some people here found that it actually alters/filters the audio data without telling the user? Not sure if it was Audirvana or another of the audiophile players.

I guess the newer version, Audirvana Studio, modified some metadata but not the audio data. However they put some fix for it and there is a toggle switch now.

Are you using USB directly off your NUC? If so, the stock power supply could be holding you back.

I got UM MEST Indigo at a used price of $1400 and I thought I had reached pinnacle of IEM only to be corrected by owners of “The Bird” a $6.6K IEM.

Yep, prices outside the rock are absurd. I prefer to stay under it!

I have HD800. But sticking stuff *in* my ear is for convenience only and my budget might be $50-$100. And plugged into the phone or tablet for travel, I'm happy.

But... if anyone brings out *audiophile hearing aids* then my budget would definitely change. Hearing aids cost $,$$$ anyway. Can hear conversation, but music sounds like crap.
