Been there done that. How horrible are group projects?? Once had to seek permission from a prof to just do it by myself because partner stiffed me on a meeting with no notice and wouldn’t return any calls.

Most of my groups are staying on top of things, some of them just have a lot of things to stay on top of though. This one was the most delayed, but also it wasnt too long of a project.

Real world is similar to college in the work place....it stinks.

In one of the courses I took, instructor came up with very nice yet simple solution. He requested course takers to evaluate team members. Trick is that one person is only given (team size-3) * 10 to allocate (team size-1) members. Peer evaluation results heavily counted toward final grade. This system significantly reduced free riders. Procrastinators executed before the midterm lol.
