Condolences. Thanks for sharing your joys and hopes with us these several weeks. We share your loss in some way and might I say our lives are richer also for that.
How awful, I'm so sorry for Tucker and for you guys. It's terrible when we lose our beloved four-legged friends, especially as they never live long enough. Take care.
Very sorry to hear. Know that you did everything you could and did right by her. Be good to yourself and seek support with bereavement if you find it necessary or helpful. There are online groups.
I'm just dumping here cause it helps me process it. Tucker had suffered from a bout of aspiration pneumonia back in 2020, so when she started having stomach/GI issues a few days ago, we knew we had to be extra careful, so we brought her back in.
unfortunately last night several hours after she entered the ICU, she aspirated, and they began treating. but after a few hours, she stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest.
it's just so hard since she'd been making so much progress, and we were beyond the moon to have her back home. Over the rainbow bridge, my wonderful, wonderful little girl! you enriched my life in ways I'll never requite. Your daddy loves you so, so much.
