Hahah! I love this! I’ve sold collections before, it’s the third time I get rid of everything. The best part is the panic when potential, yet slow, buyers are missing out.

So I don’t know yet, but I’m sure they are going to be good. Siemens made them for Telefunken.

@zerodeefex i had the 507 on preorder and didn’t realize the EU version has a volume cap. Then changed job, no more extensive travels so no more need for a dap. They don’t compare.

I'd say that the major thing is not the hardware, but the amount of time and dedication you put in. But that is self-limiting, according to skills and patience: you stop when it's as good as you can get.

But the work done by the real masters and archivists is... scary!

I came down on the opposite end. Really enjoyed it vs. standard andro. Thought the latter too lean. S variant boosted the mids and perception of the low end at the expense of airiness, to me, which could be somewhat remedied by using spiral dots. That was a tradeoff I was happy to make. Ended up ditching them for the Solaris, though.

I would go for the WM1a over the ZX300. SR15 is more of a style difference, more neutral and less warm than the WM1
