Not sure if vcap ODAM will fit in aficionado (depending on what uf you need). I find them exceptional in my Bottlehead Mainline. Oodles of clarity and resolution. Not warm, or bright, just super transparent. They did take 150 plus hours to settle however.

You could do that in a virtual machine…the source looks like it uses gcc to compile for CygWin, not VS.

Mmm, that's a good idea. I have a copy of Windows 10 lying around somewhere. I think both Cygwin and VS are possible targets, but I agree Cygwin probably easier.

Agreed. It may have been a requirement when we got our last couch that it wasn’t pleather or leather… Adding a textile couch and a felt rug pad with thick wool/jute rug on top did wonders for acoustics in a living room with hardwood floors.

Whilst I've never been tidy/rich/sophisticated/smart enough to have a sofa listening positioning, I have found this to make a difference in every hifi house I've visited.
