  What about the Matrix X-SPDIF 2? Somewhat pricey, but seems to be pretty well built. Plus I2S and AES for the future.

  The Matrix is interesting, but the price is too much for me. You're right. I should probably sell MM, Eitr, Modius (not sure yet though), and save some money for a BF2 + shipping to Canada (argh!). I really wish I could give a second life to my MM. I love the better imaging, depth, and the thickness/note weight of the MM compared to the Modius. The Modius has better technicalities, especially because of Unison.
