    So all my setup is at my office. My plan is to come back in early Monday and do some tests using qobuz and comparing from usb from the computer and then switching over to bnc from the pi2aes. I am super bummed that the commotion stopped me from getting some Friday listening in...

    I will be honest, I am typically not a "burn-in" guy but had heard it about the auteur and the biocellulose driver so I will hold off on impressions until I have given it time, just in case. :)

    That is literally exactly what I thought...
    
    I did send Craig the .22 Jupiter caps, so that should help.
    
    I am going to give the Elex(and my ears) some burn-in time. I remember my first day or two with the LCD2C, it felt like I was listening with a silk cloth over the driver, so just need to train myself back the other way.

    What are your early opinions of the difference? Is it less veiled/more open sounding? The 2C did feel a bit claustrophobic at times.

    I am writing up impressions as I listen throughout the day. One note I have is that within about an hour of listening the elex shifted to the "correct" side in terms of presentation. LCD2C have a marvelous tone but they are definitely more "dark" than the elex is "bright."
