Apple Lighting-3.5mm dongle/Andro + classical = something is off. More because of the DAC.

Sounds like treble filter is applied to all frequencies (even bass sounds a bit bright/cold). Although brass don't kill others, it's much thicker & a bit forward.

$10 Apple dongle can hold a candle against Sony WM1A. The most noticeable difference is the dongle sounds more "raw" while WM1A is organic.

Yep, FP is the most suitable for my coffee preference (South East Asia coffee).

That and sugar-rich Frappuccino. Even regular drinks aren't good anymore since they decided to use less coffee for the sake of profit.

Another vote for Oral B. I used sonicare for many years, and then switched to oral b maybe 6 years ago. Magical technologies aside, my teeth are more consistently plaque free and clean feeling with 2 minutes with Oral B, than they ever were with Sonicare.

To stir up further controversy: flat white! less milk, less foam, more delicious. Also, duct tape is almost always more useful than string.

Paired with Apple Lightning-3.5mm adapter, Andro is nearing Vega in term of bass. A bit too much for me, but I admit it is fun. Thum thump!

This changes depending on your system. Usually this would mean that your system is more resolving and you can pin point what's wrong with the mastering and recording quality. Like HD800 in a good system.

basically youre going with the angle of the nozzles to push them further. Its still shallow relative to other customs for sure, but feels fine after you do it this way IMO. Pushing the shell perpendicular to your ear/head doesnt help at all

I found out that I actually need large tips. Geez, two years of using custom is like dildo training.

The problem is, my right canal is very oval. According to Klipsch, human ear canals are oval. I understand oval bore is more difficult to manufacture, but why tips are perfectly rounded?
        Feb 23, 2017
      5. JayC
        JayC
I think that if the tips were oval, you would have to be able to orient the shape to fit exactly right everytime. Round tips end up deforming to oval once they fit in, so its not really an issue. And the IEM nozzle is smaller than your canal anyway so its shape doesnt matter

Only in audiophile-ville and according to people who spend too much time on the internet. Do the best you can with placement and keep speakers and seat a bit out from the walls if possible. Use furniture, curtains and rugs as part of normal decor to help with absorption, and enjoy. I've never measured my room, and I'm sure there's nulls and whatever, but it still sounds great.

The guide covered the issue. In short, the downsize of GPGPU encoding is worse quality *and* bigger bitrate compared to medium preset CPU encoding. GPGPU is generally less precise and/or optimal than CPU because the nature of GPU and/or high difficulty to write GPGPU code. That said, GPGPU encoding needs roughly 15 mins while CPU needs roughly 90-120 mins to encode same movie. GPGPU = quickie job.

Technically, Intel QSV is GPGPU HW encoder because it utilizes internal GPU on Intel CPUs. Slower yet seems better (quality wise) than nVidia, but I'm can't compare nV-Intel because I don't own any newer CPU.

According to Wikipedia, Intel QSV is worse than CPU encoding.
