f'ing bitchbiscuits it's never okay to say that. Could be they're having an off day or what, but what happened's still unacceptable, both the verbal abuse and the forced ship. Don't suppose you'd be willing to warn others away from them?
I could understand not being able to cancel an order if they had already paid to have it shipped for you, but regardless, saying something like that is never acceptable.
It is a MOT here unfortunately. Worse still he said something even involving my family. I’m offended, but feel sorry for the guy, that me opening a PP case caused this behavior. It’s only a $349 headphone after all.
I was just about to send a PM that had more profanity in it, actually, but might as well say my piece here: an MOT has an ethical obligation to hold themselves to higher standards, especially where matters of business are concerned. I believe you've paid your dues trying to sort things out with them. Maybe clue in a few people up top so they can keep an eye out for more misbehaviour.
A good part of me wants you to go public with it ASAP, but there's a part of my brain reminding me how bad some days can be. What they did and said was still remarkably low, but benefit of the doubt for now.
No "bad day" ever excuses treating a customer as such. People can be dicks to each other, but if you're doing "business" then your reputation supersedes personal feelings or current state of pissoffedness.
I’m not sure if we’re talking about the same guy here, but I recently had some frustration doing business with a MOT over a $349 headphone. No it wasn’t verbal abuse or anything like that, but a mistake in regard to my order which he promised he would compensate for with a partial refund (which is why I won’t go into details for now).
There’s always 2 sides to every story but there’s never really a reason to say such a thing to someone. Be direct but don’t be a dick. Especially in the internet age.
This would be a legit grievance and should be made known and public. We can handle it properly here without drama. This isn't HF. Otherwise, if you don't post, I will call you for being an alarmist.
In Dutch culture it is customary to curse in many illnesses from past epidemics. It is never personal, just a way to express discontent. To make it personal is to declare war on someone else. Do that and you ask for trouble...
