The snow's deep enough it went right over the top of my boots. Kind of fun out there, but I'm back inside listening to the Crack for now.

Take care up there in CO. I guess some did not get 96" as expected. Still over a foot this late in the year is crazy.

Lowest hum setup with the Darlington Labs MM-5 loaner and my Schiit Sol seems to be with no ground wire.

That is odd. I wonder if the RCA connectors on the Sol are connected to ground somewhere.

My current go to setup is Modius to Liquid Platinum to Focal Elegia, played probably too loud. Very eager, physical combination.

        Skyline
Yeah, the Modius actually does some good things for the LP. I thought "downgrading" from the BF2 would be a substantial hit, but that hasn't really been the case.

Gibson really ran all their companies into the ground and into bankruptcy. Such a shame though Gibson has seemingly gone back to its roots and rebuilt while it seems like the companies it was forced to sell have been struggling.

I blame Henry J. The board if directors finally forced him into retirement in that bankruptcy because none of zhis dilusions paid off. The new CEO is doing fairly well thus far. I used to work there...was a silly place back then.

So far pretty much everything I try drives me back towards continuing to use and pay for Roon. If I needed a fully standalone zero network setup again (AKA back in the office) I'd probably go for Moode or Volumio right now.
