Never tried wifi so can't say

I'm just listening to my 10Gtek on headphones now, for which the Pi2AES is normally connected directly to the router. I can't say it's a night and day difference. It has more difference on my speakers, the streamer for which is behind two switches and 100 ft of ethernet cable.

If you want the BF2/64 to sound good in NOS mode, what you really need is HQPlayer

Big fan of RADWIMPS 2 and 4 personally. As far as I could tell, they're among the not-too-bad of Japanese albums when it comes to compression.

I quite liked RADWIMPS 4 as well. I was glad that they played mostly their older songs, apart from the Kimi no Na Wa themes and 3 others from the latest album. And it certainly helped that the sound engineers got it right this time, unlike the muddy mess that was ONE OK ROCK's outdoor concert last year tuned by deaf engineers. Admittedly it might have helped that I was just 6 persons away from the stage.

Are the cables that they're sending the ones with the 1/8" connector like they originally came with?

@DigMe yeah its the same connector so you can enjoy the full benefits of your phone's DAC/amp with the HD6XX

I don't use my 6XX with my phone for the most part.

I spent a few weeks traveling in Malayasia and Thailand. Stopped for a day in Singapore to visit a friend. Jebus, I never stopped sweating,like Niagara Falls, the whole trip. What's funny to me is when I meet people who have moved to the US from some hot part of SEA, and it's summer time here and they're cold.

Thanks @purrin. I thought my ears were shot at 6khz. I probably could have gone on for a fair bit longer but a crowd was starting to form and the sennheiser booth had hooked up the amps such that at least 2 others would be forced to listen to my music.
