    For me I tend to do 75% of listening with speakers / vinyl. This is a recent and welcome trend. 9:00 or so hits and its reading / headpones time. Sometimes vinyl swaps out to digital. Headphones / vinyl still fun, its what started me on the hobby

    I hangout on a lot of EE hobbiest forums. Whenever tubes (or just audio in general) are mentioned the discussion turns to total shit. They really have no clue how they function and think the only purpose is distortion. Followed by saying that any tube distortion can be simulated anyway so all guitar amps should be DSP with Class D amps.
