I do not want to admit how often I have been thwarted by child locks in my 20s and 30s. I just miss them sometimes, okay??? May 13, 2024 at 6:36 AM

Badass facial scars are one thing, but these are literally just five (I recounted) puncture wounds. Could have been in an altercation with a lola in the middle of stitching a hem for all anyone knows :))

It wasn't a great film but I'd be lying if I said it didn't get some genuine laughs out of me. Specifically referring to the shower scene at the hotel.

The gang grew up and grew old, I think it was a realistic portrayal considering what's been established.

SBAF compensation pending minor tweaks. Bass is a bit muddier, but not enough to make me hate it. Still damn good quality. Bit of heavier rumble in subbass makes it fun. Doesn't actually sound this elevated though. Used a weak glue stick to adhere felt disc directly onto driver mesh, 6.5kHz elevation does stick out but is less painful than stock sizzle where everything >6kHz was hot.

Missed the thread, and not sorry it's closed, but one reason that the A man probably hates SBAF is that we refused to engage with him. He could troll hydrogenaudio easily and horribly, but SBAF just said, "No thanks, go away."

Or it could just be I actually notice more minutiae when I'm not forcing myself to focus. Happens surprisingly often, especially with stuff I've been listening to for ages. My attention is weird.

Hah, as expected of a good parent :)

Honestly, with the exception of Miyazaki, Hosoda, Shinkai, and a few others who make "classics", every anime I like almost always has to have trope or fanservice-related caveats tacked on, it sucks. Notable example, I love Grimgar but hesitate to talk about it for the creepy sexualisation.

I miss the days of Kino's Journey, Wolf's Rain, Ergo Proxy, Yugo the Negotiator, etc.
