Svs are brilliant at subs. Now my sb-2000 sits at Sonarworks lab. If I hadn’t built my insane big subs, I’d prolly had 4 sb-2000ies.

I finally bit the bullet and bought Ref 4 Speaker Edition (couldn't resist the Black Friday sale); given my experience with SW headphone correction I'm excited to see what my system will sound like corrected. Just need all my coworkers to leave so I can blast some sweeps. Glad you're back at SW!

To be fair - If you were expecting wireless ANC headphones to sound as good as wired headphones, you were setting yourself up for failure from the start.

If I had boiled the old pads from my HD800, it would have been liking eating @Koth Ganesh.

And the new ones are quite a lot firmer, which equals being slightly less comfortable. But yes, new pads, new head band: just like new phones.

Sorry, next time I will check with you guys. Sennheiser seems to be sending mixed messages. Okay, their website is not a reliable source until extra confirmation is present.

My source is the local distributor, who heard it from Sennheiser themselves. His wording was more along the lines - they're about to get discontinued, so think about what you're gonna do.
