Dropped by after some intense corporate sessions only to find the buffet table kicked over, shit in the punch bowl, lots of drama ...

Is “shit” a verb or an object in that sentence?

I've been holed up in the lab attempting to catch up with a serious backlog. Doesn't help to have outrageous current events in the US.
      1. Biodegraded
My first thought was that by 'outrageous current events' you were alluding to power spikes. On reflection - same :(

I realize I could have worded that better. Not happy seeing protesters flash bombed and tear gassed so a yellow belly can have a photo op in a situation so far removed from the truth.

Our younger cat, Thomas, 1.14 stone and muscular, has begun bringing us bigger presents: rabbits.

Cherish that cat. Happy cats do that and that means you have been good for your cat. Good job.

It was disturbing but now a humorous memory. The bird was carefully brought to us without damage. I think Thomas wanted us experience the joy of hunting a bird. After release, he positioned himself where he could enjoy the show. Incredibly we were able to corral the bird and have it fly out an open window while two cats were sequestered. Both cats are my lab assistants, often sleeping near while I work.

Whoa! I can do that kind of lab work. Even in highly-technical, specialist labs. I can send you my CV: I have slept in numerous roles from unskilled factory floor to IT management.

But I do lack other cat-specific skills. Also no tail or fur.

I lack the eloquence in describing the differences I hear in components with the accuracy of others on this forum. Technical differences are easily seen in the two sets of measurements. I bought the KTE Spring2 as it is close enough given my preferences and musical tastes. Also wanted to stay with a single chassis form factor.

Our medical devices serve the pre-hospital and ER staff and their patients. During this time there has been an unprecedented demand for our devices. I am doing my part in streamlining processes such that resources may be re-deployed for faster throughput, hopefully doing my part to help serve the front line medical personnel busting butt for all of us.

See about section for my opinions
My enjoyment of particular recreational music systems is inextricably intertwined with my personal preferences. The following lists are representations of my tastes in music, components and listening levels. The section on music is only a sample of my library but should provide sufficient insight into my musical preferences. I am rigorous and exacting with component measurements. That doesn’t automatically make my opinions worth anything without context. Use the following information to decide how well your own preferences converge or diverge with mine when I make comments about equipment in the forum. DO NOT blindly assume a positive comment from me about some component or headphone will automatically translate to auditory happiness on your part. Likewise you may find yourself enjoying something that I don’t. Consider (learning) your own personal preference.

    70~80 recreational and critical listening
80~90 rocking out, often with libations at hand
90~100 Santana Black Magic Woman / Gypsy Queen, ELP Tank - drum solo

I tend to listen at quieter levels where electroacoustic transducers exhibit greater linearity. Higher levels are more likely to have greater distortion and require higher power amplification. The result is substantial deviation in opinions by listeners attempting to compare headphones when they are listening at different levels.
