The first “high end” system I ever heard had a Carver Sonic Holography preamp in it (C-1 or ‘2 maybe?) . It was impressive but I smoked a lot of pot back then. I often wondered what my reaction would be to hear it today, but those old Carver Preamps still sell for too much for me to experiment.

In one of the courses I took, instructor came up with very nice yet simple solution. He requested course takers to evaluate team members. Trick is that one person is only given (team size-3) * 10 to allocate (team size-1) members. Peer evaluation results heavily counted toward final grade. This system significantly reduced free riders. Procrastinators executed before the midterm lol.

That was my plan. Right now my plan is: Work at Epic for at least 5 years until I get my paid vacation (They pay for a vacation for me and a friend!!!!!), taking my friend from college on a trip to japan, then from there decide if I want to keep working at epic, or change it up. But I am getting this free trip to japan.

Grad school debt has ruined my life, don't do it. You won't get paid better or have more opportunities as a result, unless the masters program involves on-site job experience, which you should additionally be paid for.

The original threads for the Vali had pages of comments on this which turned into a meta discussion of how much ringing was acceptable at the price point. Great amp though. I think someone found a better quality sticky pad to keep that toob from pitching a tent.

^ Guess I'm weird too then.
In all seriousness though - IMO even though the Land Cruiser is just a more subtle way of saying "I have money" vs the Porsche, it's still a cool car and I'd still want one.

After eating 2 tenders, I felt death upon my face and body. But the only thing my mind wanted was to eat the other 2 tenders left in the box. So I did. Felt fine, but combining that with a few glasses of whiskey led to disasterous results and burning sensations from every hole in my body.
10/10 would get that chicken again.

Sounds mostly realistic to me, lateral placement seems fine. Depth a bit less though, wind instruments sound too dominant at times, as if they were in front of the orchestra, when they should be in the back.

When drinking, take a deep mouth breath until you can almost taste the drink on the top of your mouth, then take a large sip and slosh around your mouth, slowly warming the drink and swallowing just as it starts to burn. Then wait for the wonderful aftertaste and enjoy!
