Resident Evil Village cleared. It was really a modern take of RE4. Very satisfying -- in level design and gameplay. May 9, 2021 at 7:37 PM

Boil water; put in glass or mug; add amount of quality honey to your liking; take spoon; stir the water with your spoon; taste.

Not a soda fan, but the general opinion I've read is Pepsi has more "wow" factor-on purpose as better in taste tests, but most people prefer Coke in the long run. YMMV of course.

Also, CMG enables to hear double tracking (quite frequent in recordings I mentioned above) analytically AND entertainingly. Not many headphones can do both simultaneously -- even in such a low dynamic range context. What a trick.

I find the same as I upgraded my system as well. Random Sony portable CD player > random Sony earphones: Jpop all day long; Entry level headphone system: Jpop turns poop; Mid-fi system: Jpop is listenable and actually quite good again.

With all the undeleted scenes and presentation back, the story now made perfect sense providing watchers with a series of well-defined philosophical discourse. Logical jumps or ambiguous narratives were made by (possibly) funders, not by the director Snider.

Nolan's Batman/Bruce could be still more easily understandable, but Snider's take is far more profound to me.

Interesting to see somethings in common: (1) beyond certain technical capability, (2) forgiving highs, (3) sin-committing spatiality, (4) crazy scaling with better upstream, and (5) most importantly presentation to die for.

I think I have especially high (biased) expectation on #2, #3, and #5.

No doubt "new" focal is spot on my taste. But kinda wondering if they'll apply this voicing to Utopia (no idea what they will name it though lol).

Whereas Magnesium seems great driver material (or at least focal convinced me that way), I'm just curious about Be's capability in laid-back context.

I've not perceived OG or utopia stages closed or boxy. But I am hearing a little more spaciousness with MG -- partly due to current upstream. On top, extra air and ambience better heard with MG. Overall, not as holographic as verite or hedd but not nitpickable to my ears.
